It won’t be the same shape, but a 9×5 load pan is in fact half of an angel cake recipe. They sell them that way in stores…I’m sure you’ve seen them. So, make half! if you should be using a mix (presume you’re not, but still), weigh out half, save the other half for next time, and it works great.
