Leftover strawberry pie filling (I know, you’re going what even IS that? Left over? How?) but there was: blendered strawberries, just enough sugar, cornstarch, boiled and now well cooled.
I quietly threw some blueberries in for my beloved who, inexplicably to me, likes to eat small fruits that are frozen, spooned it into mini molds (Bakedeco.com has lots) and threw them in the freezer for, I dunno, whenever.
It was worth it just for the look on his surprised delighted face after I pulled them out today and he asked, What IS this?
