Here, let me put a Post-It note on that thought

When you try to transition to the new time by getting up the moment you start to wake up the five days beforehand and then tire yourself out enough that you accidentally oversleep by 45 minutes the Saturday morning before the Daylight Savings Time change so now you’re almost two hours behind…

Yeah. Maybe next year I won’t try so hard.

Talk to your state representatives and tell them you want to stay on Standard Time. Oregon just passed a law to stay on standard, provided California and Washington enact similar laws. No point driving from SF to Seattle and changing time zones as you do it! That would put the cluster of Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington as staying on standard year round.

I told myself I’d get up at regular time, but when the alarm went off I was so sleepy, I shut it off and slept 2 more hours. Oops! Yes, I would love to stay on Standard time.

I slept in this morning and it was great, but with the time change on top, I feel like I lost half the day. I hate the time change so much. I don’t care what time they use if they would just pick one and stick to it!
