The day after

That shot woke up everything autoimmune and it was a bear, to the point that I nearly asked to be taken to Urgent Care. But then I’d have to sit up in the car, and once I managed to keep some fluids down I knew it would be okay. I spent the day asleep till after 7 pm.

The worst is over–and yes absolutely I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Wishing you a much better day. I lost the day after my second shot to debilitating fever and headache, and like you, knowing it was worth it.

I hope today is calmer for you. Sleep is restorative, so get as much as you can.

I’m so glad you’re feeling better. I keep saying, as icky as I felt the day after mine, it was still better than having Covid….

I hope today is better, but as you say, it’s worth it!

Feel better soon! I definitely felt droopy like I was getting sick and have a very sore, bruised arm from my first Astra Zeneca jab, which I got on Thursday. However, it is all worth it! 100%!

Glad you are feeling better. It is helpful to know, in advance, that the second dose hits harder than the first. It helps to lower the “freak out” factor to a manageable level. Almost two weeks out now, soon we can meet again! (Doing a happy dance!)

My first shot was a breeze, didn’t feel it going in and no problems after. The second one was like having the flu again, hurting all over and not getting any sleep until 6 a.m. the next day. My daughter is going through the flu-like symptoms with her first shot but she also has psoriatic arthritis and the meds have compromised her immune system.
