Plasma from recovered COVID-19 patients to save the lives of those critically ill with it–that’s what China’s trying right now, with some success.

But first you have to have tested the earlier patients and documented they have it.

Yup. That’s classic immunology.
Very similar to giving antiserum to people bit by a rattle snake

Right as Wuhan was beginning the world’s journey down our current path, DH was hospitalized with Guillain-Barre. Within a couple hours of his first dose of immunotherapy, he was already stronger. And, thankfully, released right before our county had its first case of COVID-19. Amazing what resetting one’s immune system can do – I hope the treatment continues to show promise!
