As much as I hate to see flip-flop weather end (I do love to let my toes run free!), I look forward to wearing my hand knit scarves, sweaters, and shawls.

We have unusual heat here, with humidex factor. I would be thrilled with it if I did not have laringitis and Emilie was not looking like she’s caught a cold off of me. *sigh*

Rain and coolth here. I turned the furnace on one day last week, to take the chill off in the morning and again for a few minutes this afternoon when I came in after being gone.

We are having an odd fall – very mild and the trees are so lush, with just the odd spark of color. Today was warm but rainy. I am starting to hanker for that crisp bite of true autumn. (Not as much as for that crisp bite of the first apples, which they are starting to harvest now.)
