Last week it was over a hundred degrees most of the week.
Today I wore a sweater for the first time and there was a yellow leaf from one of my baby peach trees on the ground. I guess it decided to be September after all. Cool.

As much as I hate to see flip-flop weather end (I do love to let my toes run free!), I look forward to wearing my hand knit scarves, sweaters, and shawls.
Comment by Jody 09.16.15 @ 3:25 amGlad you’re feeling better, and yes. Welcome September! I cannot wait to go apple picking…!
Comment by Pam 09.16.15 @ 7:12 amWe have unusual heat here, with humidex factor. I would be thrilled with it if I did not have laringitis and Emilie was not looking like she’s caught a cold off of me. *sigh*
I am glad you are having nice knitting weather.
Comment by Suzanne from Montreal 09.16.15 @ 9:42 amRain and coolth here. I turned the furnace on one day last week, to take the chill off in the morning and again for a few minutes this afternoon when I came in after being gone.
Comment by Sherry in Idaho 09.16.15 @ 6:18 pmWe are having an odd fall – very mild and the trees are so lush, with just the odd spark of color. Today was warm but rainy. I am starting to hanker for that crisp bite of true autumn. (Not as much as for that crisp bite of the first apples, which they are starting to harvest now.)
