Finally a photo that captures the colors well!

I’ve been told that Cascade 220 softens up at washing. I wanted to know that for sure for myself.  And so, after I ran all the ends in today, I put it through the handwash cycle on my machine and then (taking a deep breath) put it in the dryer, checking it often.

And about ten or twelve minutes was all it took for it to dry all by itself in there.

Softer it was. It is done!

Oh Alison! That’s beautiful! I love your selection of colors! Lets hope no little fingers find their way into a stitch and make a hole.

Oh that’s stunning! I had the most wonderful visit with local Hayes yesterday, and finally remembered to tell his mother about West Coast Hayes. She was delighted, and wishes him and his family well.

This is stunning! I may just have to get me some of that yarn for future baby knitting.

I’m working my way through my first baby blanket in Cascade’s discontinued Cotton Rich. My blanket is turning out to be a different gauge than my gauge swatch (AAAHHhH!) so it will be bigger than I had planned. May I ask the measurements of this beautiful blanket, so I have an idea on how big a real baby blanket is? Thanks!
