It seemed a good day for putting things in order. Going through and setting aside with an eye towards unknown others stuff that was no longer needed, claiming anew that which made me smile to see it: hey, I could use this yarn to make…for….

Alison, that was a beautiful recollection yesterday about Steve. He was one of my favorite people at church–so kind and pure. The last time we saw him, about five years ago, the first thing he asked was about you.
I hope you find a way to send a copy of your column to his wife and to Bill and Donna. And to Ron and Debbie. That whole family is made up of good people.

That reminds me, I haven’t reorganized my stash in a few months…
