As if anybody ever doubted… (Again, here is the link to her paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Moms get to brag like that.) With a heartfelt thank you to every teacher and her every source of support along the way.

Sam’s thesis defense was today. We all knew, of course she would, (hold our breaths…)

SHE DID IT!!! Dr. Hyde! I can’t begin to tell you how proud we are. Go SAM!!!

Yay! Woohoo! Go, go Sam!!!! And I’d be willing to bet that her strong, encouraging parents get a thank you, too.

I’m not surprised – it’s well deserved. And thanks for posting – it made my difficult day much easier to handle, knowing what Sam had to do to do that.
If she could do that, I can get through today!

Even when you know you are ready, you hold your breath until they actually sign that defense approval form. Congratulations to Sam for being able to breathe again!
