Packing for the sibling reunion

My brother asked me back in December what I wanted for Christmas.

A chocolate bar. Good dark chocolate. Just one, doesn’t take much to make me happy.

He bought me a case of Endangered Species Chocolate Extreme Dark 88%. And I (and Michelle when she’s been home) have ever since been gratefully breaking off just a little and melting it in our hot chocolate every morning.

I opened the box just now to grab one for my trip and found it was the last one.

“I’m going to take this with me and share it with Morgan in our hot cocoa there.”

Michelle: “Does Morgan drink hot cocoa?”

“He will when I get done with him.”

Hah! I’m sure you do it for the health benefits of dark cocoa, right? 🙂

Mmmmm. I take a “dose” of Trader Joe’s dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts almost every day. But I have to dole it out slowly because the nearest Trader Joe’s is almost two hours away from here.

I’m sure Morgan NEEDS some really high quality 88% extra dark chocolate. Take good care of him.

I also buy the Trader Joe dark chocolate, and I recently discovered the joy of melting a piece in my hot chocolate. Oh, joy!

Enjoy your trip. Report back.

and dark chocolate is GOOD for you — I can really identify with breaking off little pieces at a time — I’m s.l.o.w.l.y eating a bar my daughter sent me a while back that has little bits of cherries and almonds in it — yum!

sweet that you are going to share that last bar — and make a new chocolate convert I’ll bet!
