Um, frog-get-able

I went to bed last night with a new project started.

I’m going to bed tonight with my new project frogged.  Looking at that last bit of strand unstrung, there was a sense of, free at last!

If I can’t get myself to knit on it all day long, if I have to lecture myself to keep going rather than feeling a sense of joy as I bring something never done before into the world, there’s a reason for it. I’ve learned what I needed to learn from it, I know now what that baby alpaca/silk is supposed to come out looking like, and tomorrow, it will.

New beginnings are wonderful things. I can’t wait!

That is such a good attitude to take.

Lace taught me that frogging is a breath of fresh air.

ah yes, tomorrow is another day Scarlet! I recently frogged out a project because I just didn’t like the color combo — so liberating!!

Now you’ve given me something like a Weird Al earworm. I say you run with that title and have your musical children help turn you into a YouTube hit among the knitterly blogosphere.

Free, indeed. Life is too short for knitting you find unpleasurable.

I agree with gMarie: what a great take on frogging! I need to make notes of it and leave them in all my knitting books and bags of projects… Just in case I forget. hihihi

New beginnings *sigh* indeed!
