A pumped kin muffing it

You know who’s on your side when the chips are down…

“You want *WHAT*?!”

“If you could make just one of your pumpkin muffins without any chocolate in it…”

She stared. I used to read her that “Are You My Mother?” book with the little bird in it when she was little.

“Heathen,” she declared, turning abruptly back into the kitchen.

(She was right. They’re better with.)

We do pumpkin without chocolate here, only because Sissy needs the pumpkin… surely not by MY choice…

LOL…funny we had that type of conversation here only last night. Me, how can you be mine and Dad’s child, when you hardly ever read a book? He, a common mis-conception about librarians is that they all love to read. Me, all the ones I know do….

April 1st–oh the possibilities with that muffin…no chocolate but maybe garlic, spring onion, grated cheddar….hey not a great muffin but a pretty nice fluffy savory scone.

The mention of “Are You My Mother?” brought back many wonderful memories. It was our son’s favorite book for the better part of a year and he loved that the baby ALWAYS found its mom!
