Happy Thanksgiving to all

The spiced pecans (hey, wait, I made more than that you guys!) and two batches of cranberry sauce filled the house with Thanksgivingness and good smells yesterday after I posted, telling us, don’t quit your dye job.

The chocolate torte’s about to be taken out of the freezer.

The silk is staying blue.

Yes, Carol, the stole is finally finished. (Quick, grab some new yarn! I can’t go without a project!)

Over the river and through the redwoods, to auntie’s house we go.  Have a blessed, wonderful Thanksgiving day, everyone.

Yum!! I miss my own cranberry sauce, but it doesn’t go with pot roast… Happy Thanksgiving!

God’s blessings to you and yours. (Except the squirrels…just can’t bring myself to bless squirrels!)

Did you realize that your pictures show the 3 basic colours from which all the others stem – yellow, red and blue? I don’t know why that struck me…

Congratulations on all your achievements and here’s to more moments in life you (and your family and loved ones) get to be thankful for!

It is all about family, isn’t it. And a good time was had by all.

And a happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family! Channon, I thought cranberry sauce went with anything (except maybe garlic ice cream).

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper: “Please wake me at 5:00 AM.” He left it where he knew she would find it.

The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn’t wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, “It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.” Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

Ooh, your silk is *gorgeous*! Can’t blame you a bit! No matter what it smells like.

I am working on the blue jay shawl. Should it read K3*, not *k3? In other words should I repeat the k3,or is this only at the beginning of the row?
