Alison has been bad, or more correctly her body is not cooperating. So she is now in the hospital for fluids, PPN/TPN, and tests. She was unable to eat or drink anything without paying too high a price. She is still reading comments, but is one sick lady.

I bet you’re plotting who you can knit for while in the hospital. Let them make you better first.
Comment by Michelle 01.23.09 @ 8:07 amOh Alison, I’m so sorry…I hate setbacks – my heart goes out to you. The only good things about the hospital…well, the only good thing about the hospital is they have great tv reception and you can watch it from bed…
You get well soon, ok?! Thinking of you and praying for you and…hope your hospital has good food!
Abby
Rich – any way you could send me an email when you get a chance? – I have a thought on something I would like to do for Alison, and need a little information..

Comment by Bev 01.23.09 @ 9:28 amAs long as Richard keeps filing his posts under “life” I can remain calm. Where there’s life, there’s hope.

Comment by Tiny Tyrant 01.23.09 @ 10:30 amHi Alison:
I worked on your Concert Scarf last night and said a prayer for your good health with each pattern repeat. I know God is listening and you will be well soon. Sometimes the supervised care in a hospital environment is what a patient needs. They are able to control all your fluids and keep a keen watch on what your body needs. Love and hugs to you Alison. Stay strong you will get well. Bonnie
Comment by Bonnie 01.23.09 @ 10:54 amI’m so sorry your body is angry at being fed! I hope Dr. Rubinstein can prevail upon your body to get rid of that anger very soon. I’m sending my very best wishes from Reno, and I’ll be sending them from wherever else I go, too.

All are being lifted up in prayers from TN – for God to work one more miracle in your life. He has done it before, am believing Him to do it again. Rena

Comment by Chris Murphy 01.23.09 @ 8:21 pmWe’ll do the knitting, we’ll do the rest of the world, we’ll do the healing thoughts. You just concentrate on getting better. Remember how wonderful the musicians were the last time you were in the hospital? You’ll heal this time too.
