Introducing Kim, my new daughter-in-law, in her wedding ring (except for the reinforced neck edges) shawl, the Nina pattern in laceweight Fino baby alpaca/silk. A wedding ring shawl is any one that can be pulled through one. My son emailed me this last night.

Comment by Danielle from SW MO 06.01.08 @ 5:45 amI agree with Shelly. And that bucket of flowers was beautiful the other day! (BTW it took me a minute to figure out what you meant by pulling a shawl through a ring! I get it now.)
Comment by Lynn 06.01.08 @ 7:17 amThe shawl is almost as beautiful as the bride! And the men in your family are tall, made even more so by your small frame! Doing the happy dance for you and your family.
Comment by Rena 06.01.08 @ 10:02 amThank you! She’s also one of the nicest people on the planet, and it is a joy to see my son’s face light up in her presence. She brings out the best in him. I very much admire her and am thrilled I get to claim her now too.
