That spammer stopped calling, in fact there have been none the last day or two.
No car repair shops told me, You clicked! on their link that seemed not to do anything so I tried another one and apparently when they’re closed for the night the insurance company’s link to them doesn’t respond. But I half-expected them to know I’d tried and for the phone by the computer to ring endlessly. Nope. The silence has been lovely.
Oh that’s right.
It’s really nice when your handset stops working.

Comment by Chris+S+in+Canada 10.22.22 @ 6:37 amFor a week or so after the hurricane, cell networks here were so messed up that I wasn’t always getting calls (or able to make them, sometimes). I didn’t miss the spam calls at all!
Comment by ccr in MA 10.22.22 @ 6:51 amWe still have a wall phone in the kitchen. A few doctor’s offices leave messages, but it’s mostly spam. I finally figured out how to silence the ringer. I can return any real messages.
