I cast on for a hat and did one row. So now I have a carry-around project at the ready; it’s a start.

I can’t wait till we can be around friends and strangers again: all those people out there who need to be knitted for and they don’t even know it, sparking that spark.

291 Days for us in Assisted Living. On March 13th, they locked the doors and threw away the keys. Yesterday we were told we will be vaccinated in January. Can’t come soon enough.
Is any one else keeping a Pandemic Diary?

Even in the house, I need a carry around project. What was I thinking when I cast on for some thrummed slippers?! Not exactly convenient, spur-of-the-moment knitting. I think I need to follow your example and cast on a hat!

In normal times, I try to keep my startitis under control, but I’ve let loose a bit more during All This. Of course, in normal times I wouldn’t finish a sock without immediately starting another, because those are MY carry-around projects, but this time it was weeks before I got around to casting on a new one.
