Sandra Boynton says it’s National Chocolate Day and I hope everybody’s been celebrating properly.
We certainly did and we didn’t even know that we were getting all set up for it. Wild Bolivia nibs from Chocolate Alchemy for the definite win.

I remember when her book first came out back in the ‘80s. Chocolate: the Consuming Passion. Up until then I wasn’t much of a chocolate fanatic. I remember being at a gas station while my boyfriend was pumping. I went in to buy a candy bar and I said to another customer “I’ve been reading a book about chocolate and I really want some.” She said “I’m glad you’re not reading a book about murder!”
