No Purlescence knit night for me–I’m contagiously sick. And then some.  But Stitches West is in two weeks, I’ve waited a year for it, and I. AM. GOING.  End of story.

In better news, Michelle, who’s been a recession statistic since her college graduation last year, landed a good job today that she’s thrilled to get and they are thrilled to have her. Go Michelle!

Bad news/good news. I did make it to the LYS knit group tonight and found out how to keep going on the sock yarn blanket.

Oh, no! Get well, get well, get well! Looking forward to seeing you at Stitches. And that is fantastic news about Michelle’s job. My son is still job-hunting, but I KNOW something has to turn up for him, too. Hope you are feeling lots better very soon.

Yay for Michelle, Boo for those bugs that got you! Make sure to get plenty of rest for Stitches. You’re going to need your energy!

Kathy took my ‘YAY’! Two weeks is enough time to get over most bugs. I look forward to seeing what soothing warm drinks you are treating yourself with. Hope you can enjoy warm drinks. If they hurt and you only want popscicles, see your doctor. That’s how I can tell strep from a virus.

Hooray for Michelle! BTW, I’m knitting the shawl named after her for the Ravelympics. I’m representing Team Owww! which is made up of knitters with chronic illnesses and connective tissue disorders so I thought one of your patterns was an appropriate choice. Besides which, I LOVE the pattern and the yarn (Seasilk in Bronze colourway.) Sooo pretty. Take care.

Hey, hey, take care of yourself. I’ve been a bit low myself the past few days, and spent much of yesterday in doctor’s office.

GREAT news for Michelle! I wish her well!
