And it flickers, too

He surprised me this morning with his new toy.   You know you’re married to a geek when…

The problem (there was a problem, dear? Okay, I suppose…) is solved. There will be no fire hazard when we put out the glass Noel tea-light holders this upcoming season (but no, I’m not digging out the Christmas boxes from the garage yet for their photo op) –just blow the light out.

Now blow on it again (see those three handy little holes at the top, dear?) for it to come back on.

Who *thinks* of these things! Delightful creativity and it doesn’t even involve yarn or musical instruments!

Those would be perfect for a home with marauding pets or small children (same problem, really).

I have to admit, my first reaction was, you have GOT to be kidding! My second was that I could see how they could actually make sense.

Creativity is not to be denied!

Humor –

The dead batteries were given out free of charge.

If you take a laptop computer for a run you could jog your memory.

A dentist and a manicurist fought tooth and nail.

What’s the definition of a will? It’s a dead giveaway.

I got some similar ones for Os last year, and found a wax cylinder for the tea lights to sit in top of. The cylinder has slow color changes. We love it :-}

Nope, no new phone yet, but we will… Microsoft now has “saved” 2/3 of my data, when, before I hadn’t actually lost any on my Sidekick, just Richard had… (Typing from home on a computer that doesn’t know about Daylight Savings.)

Ooooo…I gotta get me some of those! I haven’t been able to have candles since we adopted a cat who seems to think, “Oooo…shiny” when she sees flame and has been rescued one too many times from incinerating a paw with the bad luck to be attached to such a silly cat. Sigh….

And they’re good for those of us who are allergic to the smoke and scents of traditional candles.

Oh, please please don’t let my daughter find out about those! For the moment she’s happy enough with the flickery little tea lights that have a switch on the bottom. But those look far far more fun. 🙂

I got something similar but bigger for a college friend who was in ICU, then Hospice.
