They are so cool

I got a package in the mail the other day that was a complete surprise: from Martingale? What?… Opening it up, I found this: a copy of my book, signed by everybody there. From the CEO on down to the shipping clerk.  With a cover note mentioning how Martingale felt every person there was important to their success, and congratulating me on such a fine book.the photographer’s John Hancock

I cannot tell you how much I lucked out when I decided to send my book proposal to them. (That’s the photographer’s signature alone on the next page; I like how it goes with the expression on the model’s face: “Here’s looking at you, kid.” “Wrapped in Comfort” signed by Martingalers

Alison, we were all delighted to work on YOUR book. Your color choices, construction techniques and enticing designs made it a pleasure to bring your manuscript to life. The models truly enjoyed their job while wearing your garments.
Thanks for letting us publish your book,
Brent (photographer, Martingale & Co.)

Amy, all my best; I don’t have an addy for you either, so I’ll say here, to email me, delete the first four words of .

Brent, I think there are thousands of people ready right now to leap to their feet and give you a standing ovation: you did a superb job of the photography in my book. And that cropped sunburst effect at the top of the chapter pages is just magical, and perfectly shot. Bravo! Thank you for taking my raw materials and making it all so beautiful. And my thanks to the models, too, and everybody. You all are wonderful!
