The big projects always seem to get off to a slow start and gain steam steadily.
And yet this one. There isn’t much to see but every time I pick it up I think, Oh, I like this so much. The fact that the brightness of the poppies bleaches out the other colors to the camera’s eye made me laugh: just like in real life!
I had planned to use a more tamped-down shade and it just refused to go on the needle. They needed to be how they are.
