The save-the-date went out. I looked at some of the pictures of friends of long ago and couldn’t wait to see them in person again after all these years, but we’re talking fall ’27.
My second thought was, so that’s why I couldn’t possibly be old enough for a 50-year high school reunion yet: I’m not!

Mine was fall 2025, but I couldn’t go … then they changed them to Spring, which I could have done. Oh, well. Since my college closed, no chance of making it to that 50th either.
Comment by Anne 10.24.26 @ 11:03 pmGo! We attended my husband’s 50th a few weeks ago and enjoyed a great evening. I thought of when my grandparents went back to Oklahoma for their 50th HS reunion, they were HS sweethearts. They seemed so old.
