I have not yet blocked the moose afghan. Yes a little water would make the lace trees (especially the smaller ones at the top) lie more perfectly flat, and it would also add a bit to the height of the blanket–but then spinning the water out in the washing machine would encourage little wool-hair-ends to fly free. Yes Rios fuzzes out a bit but not in pills thankfully, and being super wash treated it doesn’t shrink.
And so I’ve procrastinated adding that water to the point that I don’t really think I have time to fully dry it if I do. And I’m not about to miss the chance to hand-deliver it.
