The knit before Christmas

I’ll blog when I get to the end of this row…

No, this one…

Well, maybe this one…

Whizzed right on by that one, too…

When you’re knitting in the round, marked or no, there’s never really quite an end to the row.

So true – which may be why in-the-sound knitting seems to go so fast, you never have to stop and change directions!

keep calm and knit on!! (or: we go around in circles ’til we’re very very dizzy!!)

glad your Christmas projects are progressing too

I’ve been knitting in the round a LOT lately, and you are so very right! I totally lose track of time and stitches (unless it’s complicated lace, which does slow me down considerably)! Knit on, Alison!

These are my favourite projects!

Although I have to unknit, stitch by stitch, 3 rows of 220 stitches on a cowl I’m working on – can’t leave that mistake on.

Where do you … rest/stop on a round “row”?

Gah! Such a conundrum! One more round when I’m knitting socks….one more seam when I’m sewing….one more game when I’m playing sudoku. Decisions, decisions. And thank you for sharing the behind-the-scenes from The Penguin. I totally loved the whole thing. That is what we need more of in this world.
