Nearly repeated last Tuesday, at 102.5, but Richard came home and saved the day so no IVs after all. Tylenol, Zofran, Gatorade, fluids fluids fluids.

And then he went out and bought a blood pressure cuff that you don’t have to hear to be able to use. My mornings will be measured.

That man is my hero.

I keep praying you’ll pass from poorly to spiffy very, very soon! Hang on to that hero…literally…he’ll keep you up-right.

He’s a Prince, alright! Now you can stop being a damsel in distress to keep proving it! Hope you feel better soon.

Remembering that old T(h?)eresa Brewer song, “A Good Man Is Hard to Find.” So glad you did.

Now I happen to know that Richard is a great guy but what I’m curious about right now is – “How does that blood pressure cuff work without you hearing the start and end?”

Hooray Richard! I don’t know why I didn’t think to mention there are BP cuffs that would be easy for you to use. D’oh!

It’s a good thing you’re invincible, or this would be really scary.

Afton should know that there are a number of very accurate BP cuffs on the market that display the numbers on a screen. The nurse at Avenidas uses one as do the nurses at the Veterans Administration. The one I have also displays the pulse reading. Interestingly, mine gets the proper reading by using something called ‘fuzzy logic’, whatever that is. I know it’s accurate for it has been compared to VA readings.

Sending healing thoughts to you and hugs to Richard.

For Don: fuzzy logic – to deal with reasoning that is fluid or approximate rather than fixed and exact.
AKA, California mindset 😀

Ya gotta love the assumptions the world makes about hearing things, eh?
