(Or should I call it the new nest.)  I have to admit it: I was disappointed this morning. No towhee this time. Fancy that.

On the other hand…

This, on size 4.5 needles and finer yarn than the original in the book,

finished becoming this.

It renders its wearer invisible–oh wait, I see it now 😉

and if the towhee visited every day it would become just another daily thing, and not nearly the wonderment it was in that magically first time

the shawl is beautiful — so fine and ethereal — like a spider’s web — and as magical as the towhee’s visit

“I wandered lonely as a cloud…” Funny, that. I had to memorize that poem in grade school and can still recite it with great ease. That and MacBeth’s “Murder!” soliloquy…

The pattern wears its name well when done with such angel-light like quality!

Are your hands ready for another creation? Are the yarns competing for your attention again? hihihi

Feathers – I see feathers throughout that shawl, a reminder of your visitor during the knitting.
