Our outside thermometer readings these last five mornings a half hour after sunrise.

Good thing I started zipping up the mango tree at night, but what on earth is it doing being in the 30s here in September and October?? The average low is supposed to be 55. Next thing you know we’ll be making snowmen.

It was lovely…while it lasted….we had torrential rain….and hail! And cool enough temps that the ice lasted into Sunday morning.

We are set for possible snow next week. No totally unusual for Colorado, but I sure wish it would wait and stay fall for just a little while!

We had 24 degrees this morning. I sat by the cute little space heater all day to play yarn chicken. Down the street, we are expecting to have two tiny girls this month and I wanted to make pumpkin hats and/or booties. Turns out I am going to be able to make the second hat and no booties before I run out of orange yarn. LOL.
