Delivered, says the tracking.

Not so much, says me.

Either the mailman dropped it off at the wrong house (he does that–we joke that he’s trying to keep us neighbors in touch with each other), he checked off the wrong box on his screen, or someone stole the package.

In which case I can imagine the person opening it, looking at the wiggly silicone bar molds and going, Well, *that* wasn’t worth the felony.

There is another option, especially if it is an Amazon order – they marked it as delivered, but never tried to, so they keep their agreement with Amazon. We have had this happen on several occasions. How could a package be delivered when we never got any mail at all delivered that day? Frustrating!

Check their site – often there is a picture of where it was delivered.
Oh duh, neighbors house again. We just rescued 2 weeks worth of packages that “were delivered.” In our case, we know it is driver laziness. Why walk up that hill if you can abandon the package at a door, any door….

It’s a hard time to be a thief: you never know if that package will contain an iPhone, or deodorant and underwear.
