We bought the plane tickets. Now we just both have to keep every germ far, far from both of us before we go cuddle that new baby.
And someone needs to go weave in every yarn end and sew every seam yet unsewn and maybe, like, y’know, knit a dozen more things to go with the rest of the superwash wool before we get there.

I hope germs stay far away, that the knitting is enjoyable, and most especially that you have a perfectly wonderful time.

We did go on the 10 night cruise but I spent almost all of it in the cabin or on our balcony — barely got to meals. Of the 4 ports, I was off only in San Juan for a little while. It was something of a wasted vacation, though it was nice to have naturally warm air around me. And now that we’re home, I’m finally starting to feel better. DH went to the doc and got antibiotics and a pill for the cough as well. It was his fault anyhow — the overnight trip by train to see 3 DGSs in NYC and then a day trip with train also involved to see the other 2 in Baltimore. Between public transit and kid contact, he brought home a nasty virus. So yes, keep the germs far away. Baby needs cuddle time.
