Train of thought

There was a black squirrel doing a Salvador Dali/Wicked Witch of the West performance piece; I’m melting. Melting!

I refilled the water out there and went back to knitting up very warm fibers, grateful for air conditioning.

Ninety-nine degrees at 6:00 and sitting in the car waiting for Michelle’s commuter train to pull in, I wondered: who opened the door and let all the northern California out?

It was sent over here. WE were wondering who let all that rain in yesterday when it was suppose to hit the mid 80’s and be miserable?

We wish to thank you from the bottom of our damp little hearts.

It got here at dark-thirty this morning, and about time! There are signs up along the highways: “Severe Wildfire Danger!” A petal fell off the bouquet I caught at the wedding reception on Saturday. When I went out to the car on Sunday morning, it was already mummified.

weird weather everywhere — you all in CA are roasting while here in CO we had SNOW yesterday

glad you are keeping cool — and I can hear the squirrel saying “all my beautiful wickedness…”

Back during WWII there was a song that started, “They’re either too young or too old …”. We can change the lyrics to “It’s either too hot or too cold…”

I am under a thick blanket of June Gloom, and would welcome some sunshine. Really.

Haha… Cute title and description. It’s beastly when it’s that hot!
