Lightening strikes

Wait, what? It can’t be that late. It was light outside only just a few minutes ago!

(p.s. I want the dark wood one, fourth picture down. I’d need a second story for it, but eh, details.)

(p.p.s. Since I posted that they replaced the photos with links to the photos–sorry about that!)

Yup, I want the dark wood one, too! Like you, I’d also need a second story.

I would need a whole new house to go with the slide!
Happy Mother’s Day!

I like the light colored, curving one the best. I have the second story already…buy sadly, my staricase doesn’t curve. 🙁

I agree, the dark…

Gee whiz! A slide show of a slide show! Okay, I agree — #4, but I don’t have a second story, either.

Hilarious. And only slightly less steep than the stairs already in our 100 yr old home. Unfortunately they have acted as a slide all on their own in the past.

So here I sit, appreciating how cool it would be to be able to slide down the stairs, thinking that’s waaay better than a stair-lift, then figuring I’d have to walk down a couple of stairs to be able to sit down uphill for my knees, but how do I stop a few stairs short of the bottom so I can stand up? You’d think I was as old as my 1987 house LOL! No doubt my laundry would like the ride down to the washer in the kitchen…… In my next incarnation……

hmmmm, the down would be great — the up — not so much (that’s why we’re looking to get out of our 2 story house!)

got to say this looks like a lot of fun though

Fantastic. And the pile of dirty clothes at the bottom would cushion the landing.

In the 2nd or 3rd grade I actually had a friend who lived near school (Dennis Ave. Elementary, Silver Spring MD) who had a slide next to the stairs going down the basement. It was so cool–nothing fancy, just step to the left from the landing, ie two steps down from the kitchen, turn, and choose how to descend. The concept was so amazing to a 7 or 8 year old. I don’t remember that friend’s name, just the novelty of the slide, and that at the bottom, in the rec room, was her teenaged brother’s pool table which we were NOT TO TOUCH.

Yes, I like the dark one best, too. I shared the link with my 21-year-old son, all grown up but a big fan of slides!
