I found myself a couple weeks ago singing, “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, down in my heart. Where? Down in my heart. Where? Down in my heart…” I told Mom, and we sang the rest together.

The other song from when I was little that seems appropriate is: “Love of my life I am crying, I am not dying. I am dancing. Dancing along in the sadness, there is no madness, only the Song of the Soul!”

I’m wiping tears too! How sweet!

I love singing songs with my kids that my mom sang with me. Some of them from when she was a child in Hawaii, so we hula as we sing!
