My husband bought a Roomba, thinking it would quit me of my housecleaning stress. (I guess he didn't notice that we have house above floor level.) His "pet" often escapes and we find it in the oddest places, hiding behind and under chairs, once even stuck in the bathroom. Maybe he thought the laughter would relieve the stress!

hee hee! I used to say that our Roomba was the closest thing we had to a pet. I was tempted to knit it an outfit or two, in fact.

I think a Roomba in my house would go absolutely NUTS! not to mention what my lab would do (and I can just picture my daughter's Cairn ridding the thing!)

your comparison of it to a child sucking its fingers is awesome

I had (have) a roomba and loved it, except the price to replace the battery when it died! And then, using a regular upright, I discovered it was not removing the fur from 3-4 pets as I had thought it was. I think in a pet-free zone it should be fine!!

I agree with Karen L - that chorus vid is great!!

Keep that blanket close! The new year needs to get off the right foot - roomba or otherwise. hihihi

I loved my roomba--so much that I totally wore it out. Does not digest fringe very well, though.
