It's even better when one of the kids takes over as the host/hostess. There were 22 of us at my daughter's house, including four great-grands, with two, possibly three (twins), more in utero; and one of the great-grands threw up on my daughter's carpet.

I have children at that useful age as well. They get along much better too than they did as children. A few years ago the daughter who wouldn't let the son touch her teddy bear let him hold her preemie. That's when I knew things had changed.

How wonderful - Christmas hugs to all. I'm so glad the last two made it in, after all the dire predictions of weather-related travel problems.

That has to be the nicest Christmas present of all! Congratulations on such a marvelous family.

Fun -

Two women are talking: "My daughter found bed bugs," said one. "She's frantic!" "I heard you can get rid of them by washing everything in eucalyptus oil," said the other. "Yeah, but then you've got a Koala problem!"

Whoo Hoo. We got our last arrival today. Rebecca flew in. But she was in Utah on Christmas Day, so she was actually allowed to drop in on her missionary brother, so we have an eye-witness report. It sure is fun to have them all home. Sometimes the grandbaby messes up faster than we can clean up, but that's good too!
