I found a pecan pie recipe that my husband likes, and that's REALLY easy to make. Which is good, as I promised to make one for my father-in-law for Thanksgiving! ;)

Sherry?! Someone else in this world has the pinto-bean-pecan-pie recipe? I thought that was a small-town Southern-Virginia one-off that I got from a friend in college!

Yeah, I know about that balance (or lack of) business. I've never said "TaaDAAAH!" Usually it's been "Aaaach! Unnnnnk!"

Humor--

The Montana State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising golfers to take extra precautions and be on the alert for bears while playing on Gallatin, Helena, and Lewis and Clark National Forests Golf Courses. They advise golfers to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells on their clothing to alert, but not to startle the bears unexpectedly.

They also advise you to carry pepper spray in the case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch for signs of bear activity. Golfers should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear droppings on the golf course. Black bear droppings are smaller and contain berries and possibly squirrel fur. Grizzly bear droppings have little bells in them and smell a bit like pepper spray.

Go have another cocoa - for the bone mass. I think pecan pie is good for it, too. :-)

I can fall just as easily, with no one bumping me. Once, it was on the way to Mutual, with a cake. Once it was going out the front door with a cake! Trader Joe's may make a better pecan pie but I make a good fake pecan pie (pinto beans). LOL
