Ouch! – but glad to hear that you now have options, *hug*

Of course, the cold snap. Hope today begins a better week. I can’t wait to hear that your meds have arrived.

And for the record, I think your “representative” should be “re-assigned.”

You once told me I am a better person than you because I could put myself in someone else’s shoes even though they had treated me badly. You are a better person than I if you can pray for the lady at Caremark. Prayers for you and for a clear path for the plane to get the meds to you.

Comment by Vicki 01.12.09 @ 4:09 am

If they had just approved the darn meds, it could have saved the insurance company the expense of an Urgent Care Center visit. Heh.

Oh, gosh, Alison. You are on a tough and lenghty road. I pray today is the day that the Humira arrives. Every time I see the commercial on TV for the drug, I want to scream….”Send it to Alison!”

Comment by Joansie 01.12.09 @ 5:42 am

Ooops, hope I didn’t insult the wrong person. It’s the woman at Caremark who definitely belongs in a different line of work.

I keep checking back to see if your Humira arrived. My mom lives in Kansas and has had some packages arrive in what I would call the middle of the night.

More hugs and prayers, Alison. Keep on hanging in!

We NEED to keep hearing from you that you are ok, but please do not over do it anymore. Be home when the meds finally do arrive.

Teach mom how to update the blog.
You, rest up. Sheesh, now you got me worrying again. But when I get home from work tonight…that package better have arrived!

Alison, I have been familiar with your lovely patterns and generousity of spirit through them, and now, thanks to our mutual friend Sonya, am learning of your struggle. Please know I will also be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Here is the Humira hotline: 1-800-4-Humira. I just sent you a note about it but it is at the bottom of the previous post which has many entries. This number will be higher on the list here, although a repeat. I hope you see it.

You have a kind and generous spirit. We all can learn from how you have handled this situation.

Comment by debra 01.12.09 @ 7:14 am

You rest and take good care. We’ll be praying for you, the plane and Humira.

Comment by Channon 01.12.09 @ 7:15 am

I am praying for you, hopefully you will be thru this rough time soon!

I am here with tears in my eyes, so impressed with your strength. You are a truly special person to have so many people praying for you.

Comment by Amanda 01.12.09 @ 7:27 am

OK, kid. No more “Mrs. Nice Guy”. You know the drill….now do it! er, don’t do it, you know….behave!

Hugs from my meezers!

Comment by Barbara-Kay 01.12.09 @ 7:28 am

Sonya sent me here, and I’d just like to add my own wishes that this rough time passes quickly for you. Hang in there!

I have hated insurance companies since I was convinced that they helped murder my friend Gail. I’m feeling very, very, VERY close to that right now. You want me to go hit something/someone? I’m in the mood!

Comment by afton 01.12.09 @ 7:56 am

Allison – Sending good thoughts and prayers from Texas.

Comment by MK 01.12.09 @ 7:57 am

I’m nearly finished with your second sock. Stay strong!

Comment by Michelle 01.12.09 @ 9:00 am

Visiting from Sonya’s blog… wanted to give you some encouragement! Know that God is with us during all our trials & only makes you stronger through them all!!! Hang in there…

Comment by Rebecca Jo 01.12.09 @ 9:06 am

Sit! Stay! Seriously… Please rest. You can overdo in another couple of weeks.

Equally seriously, do they really only have Humira in one place? There’s none to be found elsewhere in all of California? How about a Plan B when Plan A goes sideways? Must I go organize these people, too?

I also thought of this woman and that it was unfair to sned all the nasty thoughts her way. She’s just following orders. So we need to re-direct the nasty thoughts to her superiors.

Loads of Love is Coming your way.

Comment by Sheila E 01.12.09 @ 10:01 am

Hi, just peeked in to say hello and check on you. Just sayin’ hi so don’t get up or write back!
Just letting you know you are in my prayers each day. 🙂 Can’t wait to hear you are much better.

Comment by Toni Smoky-Mountains 01.12.09 @ 10:01 am

Please keep updating so we know when your meds arrive. I can’t believe that you were approved in Feb. 07, and still can’t get the drugs you need. Bummer on those people who are ‘responsible’ — they are not doing what people need them to do. Hope they arrive, or havel already arrived. Love and hugs, Nancy

Comment by Nancy 01.12.09 @ 10:17 am

Every day my thoughts and prayers are with you.

/hugs

Comment by Angie A. 01.12.09 @ 10:19 am

Glad you can update us but you should be resting and not typing. Take it slow and be well.

Comment by Eileen 01.12.09 @ 10:51 am

Oh MY! I usually delete the Knit-Talk because I am “just too busy” and today I saw that you have been sick. My being is sending healing light to your being through the proper channels. You and your family are quite the example for the rest of us and with your faith, you wake up each day. You are the Energizer Bunny Lady and let’s get those Meds into you to get this thing under control. Today, today, today, today, TODAY.
Hugs and kisses.

I am going to add you to the prayer list at our church here in Michigan. Know that many, many people are pulling for you! Keep your chin up!
Fondly,
Nancy
