1. Stitches East, Saturday, Nov 8th, Lisa Souza’s booth, 2:00.  Lisa had 14 copies left, last I heard, and last year, every single vendor at Stitches East that sold my book had sold out by about noon on Saturday.  I have to tell you, as an author, it was very gratifying to see empty space where the copies had been, in between stacks of other books still there, booth after booth, although my regrets very much for the people who couldn’t find a copy and were disappointed.  If you have a copy already, you might want to bring it.  My plan is to be at the market all day (all afternoon, at least; we’ll see how I do with the jetlag) on Friday and Saturday.  Next week!

2. Kaleidoscope Yarns, Essex Junction, Vermont, 1:00 Friday, Nov 14th. Feel free to buy one there or bring your own. Let’s hope for no snow that day. They currently have it on sale at 20% off and will hold your order for me to sign for you if you’d like.

3. is selling my book at 40% off, $14.97 a copy and the potential for free shipping, through this Friday, Oct. 31st.  Yesterday they had it on backorder, but today it’s in stock and ready to go.

Thank you!

Even though you are as close to me geographically as you will be for some time, I won’t be able to see you there :-{
If I send return postage, could I mail you my copy of your book for signing?
Regardless, I will wave wildly at your plane as you fly past Michigan :-}

Sounds like tons of fun! You and Lisa hanging together, wish I could join in for a while!
Take great care and I know you’ll make great time.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to get it from Kaleidescope instead of knitpicks. Look forward to seeing you at Kaleidescope.

I am so jealous of everyone else who will get to see you. Of course, I would bring my book, too. 😎

My Turn! I’m really looking forward to seeing you in the flesh. I bought your book just because I knew you were going to be at Stitches! I can’t wait to start one of your shawls soon. Too bad I have four other projects on the needles already. Um, I must have a spare needle around here somewhere…

Best wishes for a wonderful show.

I kind of know what you mean about your book selling. It has been a pleasure to hear my marches played around the state these last two years. (Although, sometimes they have been mangled enough that I didn’t recognize them.) You create wonderful books; I’m just up for music and the blog.

I’ve been wanting to congratulate you on the success of your book!! It seems to be one of those “must have” publications. I see it everywhere! You rock!! (And I can say, nonchalantly, “Oh, Alison? Yes, I know her.”)

If I could come meet you in person, I would be there like some knitting groupie (even though I don’t knit). I think this would be a good gift for my sister for Christmas though (and certainly, it would be a BIG hint that she should knit for her little sister).

I am going to bring the copy I already have and will come see you at Kaleidoscope Yarns! Only 155 miles away from my house! yay! Way better than driving to California…
