azaleasNot much UV at this hour. I ventured forth. Curious how many buds have opened up alongside the window on the azaleas, while the rest further away wait awhile longer: is it the extra warmth? The extra sunlight from the reflection?

The allium from outer space (don’t know if the squirrels planted it or the birds) doing a Bill-the-Cat impression:

And inside. My tall Dancing Queens look different each year they bloom. From orchestra to jazz to a simpler folk melody sung along to a guitar, whatever may be playing, they dance freely with the tune.Dancing Queen amaryllis at three years old

Glad you were able to venture out and get some pics.

Just booked my hotel for Stitches East. Will you be there, and what day(s)? I will be there Fri afternoon to Sunday afternoon.

Wow, already! I’m planning on being there, probably Friday and Saturday but definitely not Sunday.

Your flowers are beautiful! I wish I had a green thumb. I kill most anything I try to grow. The only things I have grown successfully is 3 kids. And I still have to wait to see how they will bloom.

Yesterday I took a lovely walk outside with Kit (and just in case, my cell phone)as my companion. I found the crocus coming up again, and the promise of King’s Cups (aka Daffies) and Tulips. Yep. Spring got here eventually :-}

Gorgeous! My daffodils are still cautiously putting up little green fronds to see if they’re going to freeze off, but the snow is nearly gone. They’re claiming it might even get above 60 later in the week. Whoo-hoo! Might have to break out the shorts. (Er, not really. But I might do something radical like sit on the couch without my quilt.)
