With no skunks.

I gave him marshmallows this morning, saying we could toast them over an open fire, ie the gas stove. He laughed.

Twenty-seven years.  Have s’more.

Happy Valentine’s Day

I don’t think you needed the skunks this time 🙂

Perfect. The love story continues.

Brian and I played a Valentine’s Weekend gig at my friend Altu’s restaurant again this last Saturday. It was our 6th Valentine’s weekend for her, very special. Both of us have been under the weather but we did a 2 hour show and it worked out fine.

I was a little concerned what to wear because I’m still easily chilled (had a terrible flu, much better and it’s great to be vertical again). We stand by large cold windows while we sing there. We dress in formalwear for our shows most of the time, and most of my dresses have no sleeves. Chilly.

So I luckily was given a knit-with-sequins red long tunic which I can wear over a long black skirt (with longjohns underneath, I’m practical and nobody could see).

And so I wore the Valentine’s-Day-Red Sequin tunic with the still-white baby alpaca peace shawl you gave me. Perfect. Totally perfect. I looked like a Valentine’s Day gift card.
