Silkie scarf before blockingI’m the mom. That’s why.

Alright, Silkie, naptime’s over. Wake up. Time to finish the job.

(Pattern: the Carlsbad scarf from “Wrapped in Comfort,” with one extra pattern repeat, therefore stitch count is 43.)

Oooh very cool how the dark bits of yarn combined to make an argyly plaidy sort of thing!
I’m within a few rows of finishing my first Wrapped in Comfort shawl :-} Susan will love it :-} She’s a fellow knitter, she’ll really love it!

I love how the dark green criss-crosses back and forth over the body. It looks like very, very clever planning.

Alison, that is a gorgeous scarf. The colors play well with that width 🙂 (And also ‘grats on being stocked in Kepler’s!)

Diana… ooh! Hope the shawl finishes up well for you!
