Actually, they’re all wearing mine; they just bought their books today. We were all playing dress-up together.

Alison – I was a delight to meet you today at Creative Hands and your book is wonderful. I can’t wait to cast on for a new shawl; I just can’t decide between the Blue Jay, the Bigfoot, or the Redwood Burl for the first one. Then I want to try the Ann Arbor and Monterey shawls in varigated yarns. What fun! Thank you so much. Your work is beautiful and I’m glad to have found your website.

Dear Alison – Thought you might enjoy my LYS story. Went to find some yarn… owner asks me what I am knitting. Told her I was looking for something for one of the shawls in Wrapped in Comfort. “Oh!” she exclaims, “I’m knitting out of that book right now in the back!! Isn’t it wonderful! I can hardly keep it in stock!” We then spent ten minutes hovering over the patterns picking out what we were going to knit next. Fun.

It looks like great fun! I’m sorry I missed yet another signing, but I was sharing a wonderful relaxing day with my 12 y/o grandson. Did you love the ice cream? I tried that flavor a while back and found it very yummilicious.

I’m trying to catch up so I’m late to this party… did you realize that clicking the left-hand photo with the victorious pose, opens up a photo of shawls on mannequins, etc…?

I’m so happy you’re having so many good times (and ice cream, enjoy it for me) from the book and related events. I’m doing what I can to somehow get to Baltimore to see you… it’s an 11-hr drive but my sis in law is in DC and I can sleep there.
