Most oddball use of a sock needle

It was impossible to shine the silver rope around the stones, till I thought of using a size 1 dpn to push the silver cloth down in there on my Zuni ring. Anybody got any other weird uses for their needles?

I *almost* used a double point to help hold up the star on the Christmas tree this year… but ended up using a pretty chopstick instead.

Desperation hairsticks. But don’t poke your head. Ow.

I’ve used larger DPNs for hairsticks as well. I’ve used dpns for polymer clay work as well.

So, now, I wonder, are there dpns you could attach the polymer clay to to make fancy hairsticks. Hmmm.

I made that h at the end html and got it. Marlene, that’s priceless, and yes, you’ve absolutely got me beat there. A light fixture holder. Very cool.
